The Code (Start Here)
KOKUIN is the place to carve the original moves of breaking and pass the names of their creators on. Here are the five articles of the Code that hold it together.
I. The state of a name — provisional and fixed
Every carved move is given one of two name states. PROVISIONAL means the creator has not yet linked a social account and approved it. CONFIRMED means the creator has linked a social account and approved the name.
II. The ranks of certification — Under Review, Certified, Established
Legitimacy as a creator is shown in three stages.
III. Same-Move Verdict
When someone appears with proof of having performed the same move earlier, they can file an objection against an existing carving. The two videos are placed side by side, and community voting (ORIGINAL = recognised as the source / BITE = judged a copy) chooses the true creator. The review passes through "voting" and reaches "awaiting judgement".
IV. Your Own Path
Even if you are not a creator, you can master a move already carved and carve that record here. Hold up the video that proves your mastery, receive the community's evaluation, and stack up the history of your own training.
V. Anonymous carving
If the creator cannot be identified, or does not wish to be named, the move can be carved anonymously. Even then, the history of that move keeps being carved into this ground.
