Terms of Use

These Terms set out the conditions for using KOKUIN (the "Service"). By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

The Service is a personally run service operated by KOKUIN Operations (the "Operator"). Enquiries about these Terms, the Privacy Policy or posted content, reports, takedown requests, and requests to disclose or delete personal information are accepted through the contact form within the Service.

Anyone wishing to register for the Service shall agree to these Terms and apply for registration by the method specified by the Operator. Each person may hold only one account; creating or using multiple accounts is prohibited.

A minor may use the Service only with the prior consent of a parent or other legal representative. If it becomes clear that such consent was not obtained, the Operator may remove that user's registration.

Creator information, video, mastery records and any other content you carve into the Service ("Posted Content") is posted under your own responsibility. The Operator does not guarantee the truth or accuracy of Posted Content. Objections about identical moves are decided by community voting, and the Operator bears no responsibility for the outcome of that decision. What the Service shows is the oldest record known at present, and it is not guaranteed as a final determination of fact.

You may not register false creator information, use another person's video or records without permission, defame others, manipulate voting with multiple accounts, post or access in bulk by automated means, or otherwise act against the Community Guidelines.

If you believe Posted Content infringes your copyright, likeness rights, reputation or other rights, you may request its removal through the contact form within the Service, stating the URL of the page concerned, the nature of the right infringed, and the contact details of the person making the claim. The Operator will review the claim and, where it judges it necessary, delete the content or take other measures.

If the Operator judges that you have breached these Terms, it may without prior notice delete Posted Content, restrict your use of the Service, or remove your registration.

You may withdraw (delete your account) at any time from the profile screen. On withdrawal, your account and the moves, records, comments, votes and evaluations you posted are deleted and cannot be restored. However, some information already fixed as a record of the community as a whole, such as the tally of votes other users cast on a deleted post, may remain in a form that does not identify you.

Except in cases of the Operator's willful misconduct or gross negligence, the Operator bears no responsibility for any damage arising from the Service. The Service is provided free of charge, and its completeness and continued availability are not guaranteed.

The Operator may change these Terms without notifying users whenever it judges it necessary. The revised Terms take effect the moment they are displayed on the Service.

These Terms are interpreted and applied under the laws of Japan. If a dispute arises between the Operator and a user concerning the Service, the Japanese court having jurisdiction over the Operator's location shall be the exclusive agreed court of first instance.
